View Full Version : Fog lights... stay or go?

I'm thinking about removing the foglights on my 04 WRX, but I'm not sure yet.
Any ideas?

Keep them unless you are gonna replace them with some nice brake ducting.

I was just planning on buying the solid (with the small slot) covers that go in their place and selling the fog lights.

If I read that correctly, you're getting the fog light covers. I got them too. I just switch back and forth every now and then. I use my fog lights up there but not down here (too much light to need them here)

I really like fog light covers on all Imprezas, the only problem is From 02-07, most that don't have foglights (i.e. the RS/2.5i) have the covers... so it made them a little more generic rather than sporty. Was 04 the only year they just had those little mesh inserts where the foglights were? Those are just stupid looking. ^^;;

yea i agree, which is why i'm almost tempted to go with the STi covers, but 1. you pay about $30 for the STi name, and 2. it's not an STi

lol, well if i do this, you've got first dibs at the surrounds.
haven't heard a whole lot of feedback yet though, so i'm just still kind of wondering

Do you not like the look of them, or just need the money? Personally I like the 04/05 better with them. Get a set of these:

I was thinking of getting rid of them just to make it look a little cleaner and more of an STi look-a-like, but now that I've thought about it I'm going to hold off, and maybe in the near future buy the covers anyways and just swap between them and the surrounds depending on weather/season
