Fog-light covers question

Hey there,

I have a quick question about fog-light covers. Are the JDM STI fog-light covers the same as the USDM fog-light covers for the Impreza RS minus the decals?

Oh yeah,

One more quick question, were the RSs and the WRXs painted the same kind of black during 02 and 03, i.e. metallic black pearl? The dealer I am getting the fog-light covers from seems to be pulling two different part numbers for RSs' and WRXs' fog-light covers. Peculiar indeed.

I think so... but the 01-02 black STi might be a different color, which would be why there might be a difference in color with the covers, as no WRXs came with them here, they all had fogs. But if the dealers here sell the STi ones, it'd make sense that they would have different part numbers than the RS/TS ones because of the different decals and color choices.

I just took the plunge and got the USDM ones for the RS/TS. Hope that they are painted the same color as the WRXs. C'est la vie.

Well you could search online, I'm sure there's a page up with every option of Impreza for 02-03 cars... that would tell you exact color names and you can tell from that. But I do think the black is the same for the RS/TS and WRX.
