I am sure a lot of people have heard about the Lime Rock club and the paving that will be occurring this spring/summer.

Well, looks like there are a few changes to the layout. Wish I had driven the old layout, as it was a classic.

What you all think? Yah or Nay?

While I think the new course looks like it will be more technical, and will slow speeds a bit, it also looks to be a bit safer.

I also, wish I had raced the old track. I would have rather raced ther old track as opposed to the modernization of the new track, though. Just my nostalgic sentiment I guess.

if you really want to there are a handful of track days going on before it gets repaved

That is true. I know EMRA has a pre-pave track day. Just not sure myself or the car are ready for LRP yet. Signed up for my first track day at Pocono North in April, will see what is next after that.

Hmmm... I like it. It's true the old track is classic, but the new one looks to be a bit more interesting. I don't like how the back striaight is staighter, but I think that hairpin before going up the hill should be interesting and the corner before the downhill is a good idea to keep those speeds down and adds more depth to the track. Should be interesting. :) I'll have to make it to the next Speed GT series this year (they had an even there last year, no?) and see how it is.

Speed GT did not have an event last year, only the Touring class.

Looks like I'll be getting a set of MXs for street tires soon and running Limerock before June.......now I'll need another set of wheels.
