Eastern CT Show Judges

Hello all, this is Dan from Swift. We are looking for 3 or 4 motivated individuals to help out with the Eastern CT Car show on the 21st of September. I think we have the set up covered, but I'm looking for a few kind folks to help out with the judging process. Once I have the list, I would like to have a pre-show meeting to discuss the finer details of what the judging will entail. Any help would be appreciated, and we hope to see everyone else at the show!!

Excellent!! We need everyone that is interested to be non-partisan, your car will not be eligible for a trophy, for the obvious reasons, and people skills are a must. The Subaru folks will not be judging the Subaru class, just to alleviate any hate that may arise from doing so, because of this, you must be willing to speak to VW, Porsche, Audi, or American car owners!!!

There is about a 1% chance i'll judge Dan. I REALLY dont want to at the moment... Not sure what my schedule is going to be like... And i REALLY want to take the opportunity to do some nice photoshoots of cars.

So far the perks will include lot's of work, a feeling of accomplishment, listening to the trophy ho's whine about not winning a trophy, and free lunch. I am working actual benefits for you guys though!!

Exactly. Every show I've ever been to there is always someone who should have won a trophy, ITHO, lol. Personally, I go to show's to mingle and see other people's stuff, but I enjoy winning if I win. That's life. I have no intention of hiring professional judges for this show, that's not the style show it is, we are here to have a good time. Noah, it would be greatly appreciated if you could judge, but I understand the photo thing. I'm trying to get more people lined up to judge this year so that it's not so time consuming for us.

I'd do it but i lost one wrx to a VW and almost lost another wrx and an svx at the same time to a second VW at a CCSU show... So I'm a bit biased against them. Plus I'm not sure I'd be able to make it..........

Okay Judges, we will be having a Judges meeting on Sunday morning at 10:30 in the Gator Garden at Dodd Stadium. This is the picnic area directly behind the Swift Booth at the show. I apologize ahead of time for not knowing everyone by face, but I've only met a few of you before. Feel free to come up to me and introduce yourself prior to the meeting, I'll be the tall overweight guy with a Swift shirt and facial hair, with flames and skulls all over my left arm. That pretty much narrows down who I am, lol.
