GT35R '07 STi!

We had an '07 STi come up a few months ago for a stage 2 tune with meth. We listened to it before the tune like all '07s and it sounded like a broken ring land. The compression test wasn't good and we had just gained a new engine job. The car came in a few weeks ago and now that the parts are all in, is really starting to take shape!

Besides building a new block with forged pistons, rings, valves, and springs, we also put in Cosworth 272 cams, TGV deletes, and, like every engine job we do here at EFI, ARP head studs.

With the extra strength in the block, we then got a Perrin GT35R rotated kit with a Tial wastegate and a 50mm Tial blow off valve. We went with the 1.06 hotside for the turbo, which will get a nice powder coating this week. We're installing an APS 725 FMIC (black core), KS Tech 83mm intake, Grimmspeed boost control solenoid, Grimmspeed hi-flow crosspipe, ACT 6-puck sprung clutch, Group N engine and tranny mounts, wingless carbon fiber trunk, electronic meth controller, Tein S-Tech springs, 850cc injectors, a custom fuel system by Jack (if anyone has seen Limited777's car, it'll be the same thing), and perhaps some gauges as well!!

This is quite a large project and we'll be posting up more when it gets closer to completion! Here's some pictures so far with the engine out of the car, although it just got dropped in a few minutes ago!

Yes, this will probably be the beginning of our own fuel setup, however it is not for resale at this time. I'm not sure when Chris and Jack will be planning on selling them as kits.

No, this is just a custom setup Jack has been working with and it changes a bit with each car. The actual system we'll be selling is not complete yet, so we're not sure exactly when we'll be releasing that.

A big update for this car... it has been delivered to Matt and he's having good fun breaking it in! It's been two days and he's already broken it in 500 miles out of the 1000 he needs by next Friday for us to do the full tune. The car came out great and he'll be changing out his Greddy catback to an Invidia before the tune later this week in order to get the most out of the car.

No, that was just a spare hose piece we had around to try and fill the tank with meth.

The car made 524whp and 471wtq @29psi with the meth. :)

He might be back in the spring for equal length headers, a dual Walbro setup, and possibly larger injectors to really see what we can get out of it... plus C16.
