And welcome! Hope you stick around! Post up more pics of your car and some of your area so we can see some of the outback!

Welcome to CSC !!
Ride looks in great shape for a '92!
As far as the oil leak, I'd do what the others below say, clean it up real good, drive it and check often to spot where the leaks originating from.
If it's real elusive, this might help... http://www.uvp.com/reveal.html

I can remember reading in a subiesport that Officers in Australia dont take well to modified cars. Is this true? The artical was on an awesome (i believe) 94 subaru liberty turbo sedan.

Dusty B
08-05-2009, 01:58 PM
Oh and just a heads up... anything n/a 02-07 should fit your car in catback form. You may just have to heat and bend a few exhaust hangers to get it to fit right. I'm running an 05 wrx spt exhaust on my 91 ss.

Looks good. I like that rear garnish better than the USDM Legacy.
We have a spot for a license plate molded into the rear bumper, and a reflective piece which matches the tail lights instead.

08-06-2009, 06:01 AM
ok, and tbh i dont know what to do to it other then, body kit, exhaust, mags dropping suspension 2" any thoughts

A 2" drop is a lot. Not saying there's anything wrong with doing that, IB saying that your wheels would be tucked.

ive seen a liberty the same as mine dropped with 17" and it is good style it will suit the car well.
Also i looked again for this leak and yes is the rocket cover gaskets so once i get some money (unemployed atm) ill replace them.

hes not turbo so his cat section is way different. It goes y pipe down to a cat and then a 3 bolt collector to an extension pipe like 1.5' long then finally to a catback section. and the piping is 1 7/8" OD if i remember correctly. Anyhoo odd setup and hard to find exhausts for but starting with a legacy stromung midpipe and making it work is not a bad idea.

Hmm ok I replaced my gaskets and got some oil leaks still happening. Its running down the sump, so its leaking from the top which to my knowledge it shouldn't be the main seal because the leak further back. Or I haven't sealed it properly. I replaced the gasket and put the gasket glue around the screws...is there anything else I should check?
Thanks.

Did you make sure the seal was sitting right before you tightened everything down? Valve cover gaskets are a quick and easy job on that motor, and rarely still have a leak condition. If all else fails, use some oil dye and a uv light to find your leak if your having problems locating it.

Hella Fun! Are Holdens still in production? I didnt pay attention to what GM did with those plants.

yeah Gm is still in production. hence, your police are using our hsv's (Holden Specialized Vehicles) only some places Gm stopped but they are still getting made.

Howdy Mates From Aus. Haven't been on for ages, i brought low kings there sitting in my room waiting to go on.. replaced spark leads, fixed idle control to have better launches, Installed a full kicker sound system, 12" sub, 2x 6x9s and 2x 5½" splits and goes off. Cold Air Induction kit goes on Tuesday when i receive it "custom made", (some brought off ebay) couple of mods going in soon, full window tint, respray, new interior colour etc.
