heyy everyone just wanted to say wuddup im new i just got an 06 wrx and so far all i have is a blitz catback invidia v2 dowpipe that icant put on yet due to no em:cry: and a cobb sf intake with spt heatshield.

i talked to that mike guy...well i sent him a message and i missed his call being in class but he left me a message. says he wants 500 and that its mint, but doesnt say which version it is.

Yeah I forgot to send you a message on nasioc Colby.... I stopped downstairs yesterday to check on your car. They have the whole front off right now, getting a new bumper beam and whatnot, assesing what to do with all the other metal work. But as I suspected, they're saying there is no way the damage done was cause by a 10-15mph impact. Don't want to throw your buddy under the bus, but you might want to have a chat with him. :banghead: But the good news is your car is coming along man!

Yeah I sort of expected that it would have to be faster than that especially to do that kind of damage. I plan on giving the body shop a call Tuesday, I am pretty worried if it will actually drive and be like it used to be, and if I will end up having long lasting problems because of the accident and repairs.

If possible I would also like to get the body shop's ideas about the approximate speed and angle of the car when it crashed (in writing if possible). I have now been without my car for about 5 weeks because of my "friend", and everytime I get news about my car, it gets worse and worse. I know you guys will do everything you can with the repairs, but if it turns out the car will have long standing problems, my "friend" will be purchasing the car from me one way or another. Especially if he lied after crashing the brand new car I worked so long to buy.

Yeah both airbags went off, the windshield is broken, bumper trashed, hood and fenders bent, and the car was leaking coolant. USAA estimated ~8k for the repairs. I made a thread about it on Nasioc with pictures in the New England regional forum. I learned a hard lesson with all of this, and will never loan my car to anyone again.

i t-boned a jetta at probably 20...no airbags deployed, everything for the most part was ok, aside from the bent frame, radiator, front end stuff, etc. wouldn't have been totalled if there was no engine damage. i, too, believe your friend was going a bit over the stated speed of "10-15". but i wasn't there and haven't looked at the car, so who am i to guesstimate.
