We had planned on doing this next year, but since we were on a roll.... We decided to go for it.

The room will be insulated, and lights are going in tomorrow... The challenge was to get it done in two days so we don't interrupt our tuning schedule too much... So far, this is 8 hours in.

They're probably use it as space to house the stolen babies they have for sale.

looks very nice... I have to ask... why close it in? Think it will make it louder or quieter? Need to put a Cold Air Intake on the dyno fan now lol.

And now that I think about it... That sucker must be FREEZING now that its getting cold outside... I cant imagine how cold it must be in the winter...

I am not sure if this is the right place.... but do you have T shirts or sweatshirts available for purchase? If not can we order any? I propose that you put the tag line "We void warranties" under the EFI logo! :D

Well that is because you do! :D

Does EFI plan on selling any T-shirts or Hoodies to their customers? If so I would be interested in buying. Also did you guys get any more "tuned by EFI stickers"? When I was there in September you guys were waiting for more. I need a couple for the car! :devil:

It will be storage for everything we have upstairs right now. Then the space that's being used up there now will become more of an employee lounge/locker area with apparently a possibility of a shower so Rob can work all night if he wants. :lol:

It should quiet it down a bit since it will at least eventually be insulated. Also, this will keep the cold away from the rest of the shop so we can try to keep some heat in in the winter. It's pretty cold as it is right now, it'll be interesting to come to work when it's snowing.

We're working on getting a bunch more shirts/hoodies/hats. We'll then have to figure out how much to charge for each one and we'll be good to go... but as it is now, we're out of everything unfortunately. We just got more decals in, so for anyone who got work done in the last month or two and we were out, we do have more now!

We'll be working on getting more clothes very soon!

DSG has a shirt that says "Voiding Warranties Since 2004"

Thinkgeek has a "I void warranties shirt" which I also happen to own with all the tamper proof/resistant fasteners displayed.

Electrical came in today and wired up the lights for the dyno cell..

Up next we need to get fresh air ducting to the fan, right now it's just a big vortex since we sealed the room off.. But I like how things are coming along. We will also be sheet rocking the ceiling in the spring.

Not us... Our slogan is, "Building the Imports America Desires"

Shops coming along nicely! I'm also worried about the challenge of heating 10,000 sq ft while the Dyno is in use :(

That's something we're working in now...

And that is a motor closet for the bay on the other side, which will be Rob's engine building bay/race car bay. ;)
