So last night I worked a bit more on the motor, throwing the front timing belt crap on along with the oil pan - 08 STI oil pump with 08 STI oil pickup.. woot. Cams are out and I need to get some more assembly lube to put them back together.

ya surprisingly the majority of the work was done in a few hours. Now i'm just held up by stupid broken bolts/rounded heads from previous owner :P

Thanks for the props. - I'm waiting on some gallery plug adapters to get sensors in for my gauges before I put the intake manifold back on. It's just a little easier than trying to fight stuff in the way, hah.

sorry i didnt have a chance to get over there this week. I'd say next week, but i'm in vegas. Maybe the week after next? Mon-Tues i'm in GA for work, but i might have thurs night free (If I don't go over to Abingtons to finish lettering the rally car for him)

whatever works - I need to get 90% of the mechanical shit done this weekend. hopefully I can get this cam gear off, swap the cams and god willing subimods has my parts. Then I just need to wait for my quickener which should be here on the 29th
