So Duy has been talking about his Kyosho DRX '08 SWRT gas powered RC car for the last 3 weeks and he hasn't even started it yet... so Chris had to buy one.

He got it in yesterday and started it up, but the real fun was this morning before we started. Here's some pics and videos... this thing is very quick and fun - but Rob was able to shear off one of the metal axles as he hit WOT and tapped a curb - thus the very rally-like pose in the last picture. Chris is going nuts on aftermarket and extra parts now though, so this should be fun this summer.

My big complaint, and the main reason I havn't ordered one yet... is the lack of body styles available for 1:9 scale. There are tons of options for 1:10, including GCs... but not for 1:9.

Ahhh welcome to the very expensive world of RC Chris, I've got about 12, 2 nitro. Those are awesome platforms as they are essentially just a 1/8 scale buggy, and are very durable (other than apparently when Rob is driving) Im thinking you should jump the EFI building, like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vYqFfoGdDq4

Edit: also, you can slap some pvc pipe on some wheels and really drift the crap out of it too, EFI RC meet? hahaha
